000 TTAA00 KGRI 110125 TORGRI NEC065-110200- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HASTINGS NE 824 PM CDT SAT AUG 10 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HASTINGS NE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA ...FURNAS COUNTY AT 820 PM...HASTINGS DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A TORNADIC CIRCULATION ASSOCIATED WITH A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF LEXINGTON OR 15 MILES NORTH OF CAMBRIDGE. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTH AT 20 MPH AND WILL PASS NEAR CAMBRIDGE BETWEEN 830 AND 845 PM. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING THUNDERSTORM WINDS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.
