000 TTAA00 KFTW 242350 TORFTW TXC349-250045- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORT WORTH TX 549 PM CST SUN MAR 24 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 645 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...NAVARRO COUNTY AT 549 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A DEVELOPING TORNADO JUST EAST OF IRENE. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 25 MPH. STORM SPOTTERS HAVE REPORTED ROTATION WITH THIS STORM. RUSH PRAIRIE... RALEIGH...AND DRESDEN ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID WINDOWS.
