000 TTAA00 KFAR 290131 SVRFAR NDC019-290200- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA ND 830 PM CDT FRI JUN 28 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA ...CAVALIER COUNTY AT 830 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES EAST OF ROCKLAKE...OR 35 MILES WEST OF LANGDON. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. THE THUNDERSTORM WILL REACH CALVIN AND CLYDE AT 845 PM. PEOPLE IN THESE AREAS SHOULD TAKE SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR LARGE HAIL AND TORRENTIAL RAINFALL. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. JB
