SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  230 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA
 
   ...NORTHERN TOWNER COUNTY
 
AT 155 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF HANSBORO...OR 60 MILES WEST OF LANGDON. THE STORM WAS
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.
 
THE STORM WILL PASS JUST SOUTH OF HANSBORO BY 225 AM.

1135 PM CDT...

A SPOTTER REPORTED A BRIEF TORNADO TOUCHDOWN AT 1135 PM CDT...2 MILES
WEST OF HIGHWAY 281 NEAR THE TOWNER/BENSON COUNTY LINE.  NO REPORTS OF
DAMAGE WERE REPORTED.  AT 1148 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT
THIS STORM HAS MOVED WELL NORTH OF CANDO AND WEAKEND.  NO SEVERE WEATHER
IS EXPECTED WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
NORTH DAKOTA UNTIL 2 AM CDT.  PERSONS IN THIS AREA SHOULD CONTINUE TO
