000 TTAA00 KFAR 021906 SVRFAR MNC007-021930- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA ND 203 PM CDT SUN JUN 2 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 230 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA ...SOUTHERN BELTRAMI COUNTY AT 200 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES EAST OF BEMIDJI MOVING SOUTH AT 5 TO 10 MPH. PRIMARY CONCERN FOR THIS THUNDERSTORM IS LARGE HAIL AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
