IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...BARTOW COUNTY AT 643 PM WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 12 MILES WEST OF CARTERSVILLE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MILES PER HOUR. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
