        CONTINUE OVER THE WEST SIDE OF ATLANTA...

DURING THE PAST HOUR A STRONG THUNDERSTORM HAS REMAINED LOCKED OVER
DOUGLAS COUNTY IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA. DOUGLASVILLE 911 HAS REPORTED
VERY HEAVY RAINS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING STRIKES SINCE 1245 PM.

A WEATHER SERVICE OBSERVER AT DOUGLASVILLE HAS REPORTED 3/4 INCHES
OF RAIN IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES. WEATHER RADAR HAS SHOWN A RAINFALL
RATE OF ABOUT 1 INCH AN HOUR. FLOODING IS LIKELY BUT HAS NOT BEEN
REPORTED.

THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND DANGEROUS CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER THE FOUR COUNTY
AREA THAT INCLUDES ATLANTA DURING THIS AFTERNOON. IF YOUR OUTSIDE
WHEN A THUNDERSTORM DEVELOP...TAKE SHELTER INSIDE NOT UNDER A TREE.
