MONROE...MOVING EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. THIS STORM PRODUCED GOLF BALL
SIZE HAIL IN MONROE AT 530 PM EDT. THIS STORM WILL MOVE OVER
WATKINSVILLE WITHIN 25 MINUTES.
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTH AND CENTRAL
GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.

CONSIDERABLE MOISTURE HAS SPREAD INTO THE SOUTHEAST...WELL AHEAD OF A
FRONTAL BOUNDARY NEAR THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. THE AIRMASS OVER OUR AREA
COULD SUPPORT ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AS STEADY SOUTHWEST WINDS
COMBINE WITH HIGH MOISTURE AND AFTERNOON HEATING.

LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WOULD POSE THE GREATEST THREAT.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED BUT SPOTTERS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT
IN CASE SUPPORT IS NEEDED.
