000 TTAA00 KSAT 050211 SVRSAT TXC137-385-050315- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 810 PM CST THU APR 4 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...EDWARDS COUNTY...NORTHERN REAL COUNTY AT 805 PM CST SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS HAD DEVELOPED SOUTHEAST OF ROCKSPRINGS AND ALSO SOUTHWEST OF ROCKSPRINGS. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. 1 INCH SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED FROM THE STORM SOUTHEAST OF ROCKSPRINGS. THE HAIL PRODUCING STORM WILL CROSS THE NORTHERN PORTIONS OF REAL COUNTY IN THE NEXT HOUR AND THE OTHER STORM WILL CROSS ROCKSPRINGS IN ABOUT 40 MINUTES. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE POSSIBILITY OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN CAN ALSO OCCUR WITH SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...FLOODING SMALL STREAMS...LOW AREAS...AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
