FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  600 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...GILLESPIE COUNTY
 
DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A NEAR 3 INCH AN HOUR RAINFALL OVER
FREDERICKSBURG. THIS HAS STEADILY INCREASED OVER THE PAST HOUR AND
LITTLE OR NO STORM MOVEMENT WAS INDICATED. REPORTS OF STREET FLOODING IN
FREDERICKSBURG HAVE BEEN RECEIVED FROM THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED
ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
 
FLOOD PRONE URBAN AREAS FILL WITH WATER QUICKLY.  CLOjGGED STORM
DRAINS MAY CAUSE OTHER AREAS TO FLOOD.  DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH
FLOOD WATERS AND STAY AWAY FROM STORM DRAINS.
