THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  215 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...NORTHERN EDWARDS COUNTY
 
A SLOW MOVING INTENSE THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS LOCATED JUST
TO THE NORTH OF ROCKSPRINGS. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AT 10 MPH.
RAINFALL RATES OF 2 INCHES PER HOUR WERE INDICATED BY RADAR WITH THIS
STORM.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED
ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
