STREET FLOODING THROUGH EAST EL PASO. WITH THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED
TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT HOUR...SOME AREAS TO RECEIVE BRIEF HEAVY
RAINFALL...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING IS ISSUED FOR THE CITY OF EL PASO
AND ADJOINING COMMUNITIES OF NEW MEXICO.

AT 145 PM MDT...AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS HAS RAPIDLY DEVLOPED
OVER THE EAST SIDE OF THE EL PASO METROPOLITAN AREA AND IS MOVING
SOUTHWEST. PUBLIC HAS REPORTED PEA SIZE HAIL IN THE CIELO VISTA
AREA AND AT THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. WIND GUSTS TO 51 MPH HAVE
BEEN RECORDED AT EL PASO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. ANOTHER AREA OF
THUNDERSTORMS IS OVER THE NEWMAN...NORTHEAST EL PASO...AND SOUTH
OF HORIZON CITY BTWEEN CLINT AND FABENS. THESE ARE ALSO MOVING TO
THE SOUTHWEST.
   THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND PRODUCE
STRONG GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL PRODUCING MINOR STREET
FLOODING...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND SMALL HAIL.
   REPORT ANY SEVERE WEATHER TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OR
YOUR NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.
   WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
