000 TTAA00 KDTX 202035 COR TORDTX MIC093-161-202115- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING...CORRECTION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DETROIT PONTIAC MI 433 PM EDT MON MAY 20 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DETROIT PONTIAC HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST LOWER MICHIGAN ...SOUTHERN LIVINGSTON COUNTY AND NORTHERN WASHTENAW COUNTY AT 420 PM DOPPLAR RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO NEAR THE JACKSON-INGHAM COUNTY BORDER...JUST NORTHEAST OF PLEASANT LAKE. SPOTTERS ALSO REPORTED A FUNNEL CLOUD IN THIS AREA AT 418 PM. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT ABOUT 40 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHERN LIVINGSTON AND NORTHERN WASHTENAW COUNTIES AND WILL AFFECT PLAINFIELD AND GREGORY IN SOUTHERN LIVINGSTON COUNTY BY 435 PM.
