SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHEYENNE WY 152 PM MDT SAT JUN 22 1996 AT 149 PM MDT...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING IN ALBANY COUNTY INTO NORTHERN PLATTE COUNTY. THE STRONGEST STORM WAS LOCATED IN NORTHERN ALBANY COUNTY 35 MILES NORTH OF LARAMIE. THIS STORM IS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL AND POSSIBLE SMALL HAIL. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 30 TO 35 MPH. THESE STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING.
