MOST OF THE CONVECTION IS ON THE COLD SIDE OF THE BOUNDARY. LOOKS LIKE AN ELEVATED CONVECTIVE SYSTEM...BUT ITS NOT TOTALLY DECOUPLED FROM THE BOUNDARY LAYER.
