000 TTAA00 KCLE 080312 SVRCLE PAC039-080415- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 1113 PM EDT SUN JUL 7 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN PENNSYLVANIA ...CRAWFORD COUNTY AT 1110 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR IN CLEVELAND INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR CONNEAUTVILLE. THIS STORMS WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MILES PER HOUR. THIS STORM WILL MOVE NEAR THE TOWNS OF MOSLERTON...VENANGO AND CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.

A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE ISLANDS TO RIPLEY NEW YORK UNTIL 915 PM EDT. AT 8 PM DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS NEAR CLEVELAND AND OVER THE LAKE NORTH OF CLEVELAND. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. PEOPLE IN THE WATCH AREA NEED TO KEEP AN EYE ON THE SKY AND BE READY TO MOVE TO SAFETY IF THREATENING WEATHER OCCURS OR WARNINGS ARE ISSUED.
