FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  330 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

   ...CRAWFORD COUNTY
 
AN ICE JAM CONTINUES ON FRENCH CREEK BETWEEN SAEGERTOWN AND MEADVILLE. A
ROAD WAS CLOSED BECAUSE OF THE JAM. THE JAM MAY MOVE OVERNIGHT AND THEN
STOP. ONCE AN ICE JAM STOPS ICE AND WATER BACKS UP BEHIND THE JAM AND
CAUSE FLASH FLOODING.
 
PEOPLE WHO LIVE NEAR FRENCH CREEK SHOULD BE READY TO MOVE TO SAFETY IF
ICE JAM FLOODING DEVELOPS.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
