FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

ICE JAMS CONTINUED ALONG PARTS OF FRENCH CREEK IN CRAWFORD
COUNTY. THIS EVENING AN ICE JAM WAS NEAR CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS IN THE
NORTHERN PART OF CRAWFORD COUNTY...SOME EVACUATIONS WERE EXPECTED.
 
ICE JAMS MOVE AND WHEN THEY STOP THAT IS WHEN THE FLASH FLOODING OCCURS.
PEOPLE ALONG FRENCH CREEK NEED TO KEEP AN EYE ON THE LEVEL OF THE CREEK
AND IF IT STARTS TO RISE BE READY TO MOVE TO SAFETY.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
