FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAM

FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

SEVERAL THUNDERSTORMS HAVED MOVED ACROSS NORTHERN TRUMBULL COUNTY EARLY
THIS AFTERNOON. RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATED THAT SINCE 130 PM ALMOST 2
INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN EAST OF LOCKWOOD TO GUSTAVUS AND KINSMAN.
ADDITIONAL STORMS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP TO THE WEST AND WILL MOVE ACROSS
THE AREA. THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL LIKELY RESULT IN LOCAL FLOODING
OF ROADWAYS AND SMALL STREAMS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
