000 TTAA00 KCAE 071347 RRA SVRCAE SCC061-071415- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC 847 AM EST THU MAR 7 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 AM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CAROLINA ...NORTHERN LEE COUNTY AT 845 AM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHERN LEE COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO DARLINGTON COUNTY BETWEEN 9 AND 930 AM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. SJN
