THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO NY HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WESTERN NEW YORK

   ...GENESEE COUNTY
 
AT 330PM DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER
EASTERN GENESEE COUNTY NEAR LEROY. THE STORM WAS MOVING
NORTH AT ABOUT 15 MPH.

THE STORM COULD PRODUCE HAIL AND VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS THAT
COULD CAUSE LOCALIZED STREET AND LOWLAND FLOODING AS IT CROSSES
THE REGION.

IT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE TOWNSHIP OF LEROY BETWEEN 330 AND 400PM.
 
IF YOU ARE OUTDOORS...MOVE TO A PLACE OF SHELTER IF A STORM
APPROACHES.  MOTORISTS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR REDUCED VISIBILITIES
