THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN  MASSACHUSETTS
 
   ...PLYMOUTH COUNTY
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.
 
 
AT 905 PM EDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 8 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
BROCKTON NEAR WEST BRIDGEWATER. THIS STORM IS MOVING SOUTH SOUTHEAST AND
WILL AFFECT THE COMMUNITIES OF ELMWOOD AND BRIDGEWATER BY 920 PM. IT HAS
PRODUCED WIND DAMAGE IN THE BROCKTON AREA.
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
