SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  930 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN WEST MASSACHUSETTS
 
   ...FRANKLIN COUNTY...HAMPSHIRE COUNTY
 
AT 850 PM...RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN WESTERN FRANKLIN AND
NORTHWEST HAMPSHIRE COUNTIES FROM CHARLEMONT SOUTHWARD TO GOSHEN. THE
STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 45 MPH AND WILL BE AFFECTING THE
TOWNS OF SHELBURNE...GREENFIELD...AND AMHERST BETWEEN 850 PM AND 930 PM.
 
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
