IN CENTRAL ALABAMA ...CHILTON COUNTY AT 557 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAVE RECEIVED REPORTS OF A TORNADO SIGHTING IN THE THORSBY AREA. DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING THROUGH THE THORSBY AREA. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING DAMAGE 7 MILES WEST OF CLANTON. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
