SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA
 
   ...WESTERN MCKENZIE COUNTY
 
AT 655 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM LOCATED ABOUT 22
MILES SOUTHWEST OF WILLISTON. THE STORM WAS NEARING THE NORTHWEST CORNER
OF MCKENZIE COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH.
TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM ARE EAST FAIRVIEW AND CARTWRIGHT. THIS
STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING GOLF BALL SIZED HAIL AND 60 MPH WINDS.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
