AT 220 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHWEST
BUFFALO COUNTY..BETWEEN NELSON AND MAXVILLE...OR 60 MILES NORTHWEST OF
LA CROSSE. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL
AFFECT THE COMMUNITIES OF NELSON...TELL AND ALMA BETWEEN 230 AND 300 PM.
 
THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.

INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN OVER TAYLOR COUNTY EXPANDING
SOUTH INTO CLARK COUNTY IN CENTRAL WISCONSIN. THE HEAVIEST RAIN
WAS MOVING INTO NORTHWEST CLARK COUNTY...ABOUT 30 MILES EAST OF
EAU CLAIRE.  MOVEMENT OF THESE STORMS WAS SOUTHEAST AT 30 MILES
AN HOUR.

AS MORE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP FURTHER WEST OF
THIS AREA...ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS TO 40 MPH CAN
BE EXPECTED.
