FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  115 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN
 
   ...VERNON COUNTY
 
AT 915 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED BETWEEN 2 AND 2 1/2 INCHES OF RAIN
HAD FALLEN SINCE 7 PM IN AN AREA FROM VICTORY TO NEAR VIROQUA...OR ABOUT
20 MILES SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST OF LA CROSSE. VERNON COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT
ALSO REPORTED MUDLSIDES NEAR VICTORY ON HIGHWAY 35. MORE PERIODS OF
HEAVY RAIN ARE EXPECTED DURING THE EVENING WHICH WILL INCREASE THE
THREAT OF FLASH FLOODING.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
