IN NORTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN

AT 1008 AM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER
WESTERN MISSAUKEE COUNTY. THIS STORM WILL PASS THROUGH LUCAS...LAKE
CITY BY 1020 AM AND INTO MERRIT BY 1030 AM.

THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH AND
LARGE HAIL.

AT 925 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS ABOUT 10 MILES WEST OF CADILLAC AND MANTON IN
WEXFORD COUNTY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 35
MPH. SOME COMMUNITIES IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS ARE
KINGSLEY...FIFE LAKE...SHARON AND KALKASKA.

GUSTY WINDS...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...HEAVY RAIN AND SMALL HAIL ARE
POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

PERSONS IN NORTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR
