000 TTAA00 KALB 021422 FFWALB MAC003-021700- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBANY NY 923 AM EST MON DEC 2 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY NY HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1200 NOON EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS ...SOUTHERN BERKSHIRE COUNTY HEAVY RAINS DURING THE NIGHT HAVE RESULTED IN THE GREEN RIVER OVER FLOWING ITS BANKS IN THE TOWN OF EGREMONT AND NEAR THE GREAT BARRINGTON AIRPORT. WATER HAS OVERFLOWED ONTO BOICE ROAD NEAR EGREMONT. A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR WILL OCCUR SHORTLY. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
