SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  600 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO
 
   ...SOUTHERN CHAVES COUNTY
 
AT 458 PM MDT RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
ROSWELL. THIS STORM IS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH AND WILL PASS OVER
ROUTE 13 NEAR THE JUNCTION OF ROUTE 82 BY AROUND 510 PM.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
