FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

AT 730 PM MDT RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER
SOUTHERN SANDOVAL INTO SOUTHWESTERN SANTA FE COUNTY. GENERALLY FROM
THE SANTO DOMINGO PUEBLO TO 10 MILES WEST OF SAN YSIDRO...ALSO
BETWEEN PLACITAS AND MADRID.  RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE AREAS OF 1-2
INCH RAINFALL IN THE PAST HOUR...WITH ISOLATED THREE HOUR TOTALS TO 5
INCHES 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF MADRID.
 
THESE STORMS WILL MOVE INTO THE ALBUQUERQUE METRO AREA AND EAST
MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES BEFORE 830 PM.  ARROYOS AND DRY WASHES WILL
FILL QUICKLY IN AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
