THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO

   ...CENTRAL COLFAX COUNTY
 
AT 405 PM...DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE AN AREA OF STRONG
SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS 6 TO 8 MILES SOUTH OF RATON ALONG I-25.
THIS THUNDERSTORM HAS PRODUCED OVER 1.50 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE 340
PM AND RUNOFF FROM THE HEAVY RAIN WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF
NORMALLY DRY ARROYOYS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS THROUGH 530 PM.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
