IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...EASTERN LE FLORE COUNTY AT 504 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CENTERED IN THE VICINITY OF WISTER...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH. POTEAU IS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM. HAIL TO THE SIZE OF DIMES AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA. DURING THE STORM MOVE INDOORS AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM LIGHTNING DO NOT USE THE TELEPHONE OR HAND HELD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES...UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY. EASTERN OKLAHOMA/NORTHWEST ARKANSAS FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 345 PM CDT SAT JUL 22 1995 PATTERN TO REMAIN MUCH THE SAME WITH EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS ON THE SOUTHERN EDGE OF THE WESTERLIES AND READY TO CATCH ANY SHORTWAVES WHICH MAY COME ALONG WITH THEM. THE ONE WHICH BROUGHT RAIN TO THE AREA OVERNIGHT AND THIS MORNING CAN BE SEEN MOVING EAST ACROSS ARKANSAS IN WATOR VAPOR PICS WITH LOTS OF DRY AIR BEHIND IT. LITTLE NOTICE YET AT THE WEAK SHORTWAVE THE NGM BRINGS ACROSS TONIGHT INTO TOMORROW MORNING. WILL STILL INCLUDE SMALL POPS TONIGHT AND TOMORROW DUE TO IT. GRIDDED DATA SHOWS INSTABILITY TO REMAIN HIGH THROUGHOUT THE FORCECAST FRAME AND THE FORECAST AREA WILL ALSO LIE ALONG A THETA-E RIDGE AXIS THROUGH THE TIME FRAME ALSO.
