000 TTAA00 KTUL 140046 SVRTUL OKC041-140130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 745 PM CDT SAT MAY 13 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...SOUTHEASTERN DELAWARE COUNTY AT 744 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER COLCORD MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND ARE THE MAIN THREAT AT THE MOMENT. HOWEVER...DOPPLER RADAR SHOWS SOME ROTATION...IF THIS INCREASES A TORNADO WARNING MAY NEED TO BE ISSUED. PERSONS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY! HAIL TO THE SIZE OF NICKELS AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER... SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. MESONET OBS SHOW MOIST CONVERGENCE STILL AROUND 2.5 G/KG/HR JUST SOUTHWEST OF PITTSBURG COUNTY. WILL KEEP MENTION OF ISOLATED TRW PSBL UNTIL SUNSET IN ERN ZNS. DRY AIR HAS MADE BEST ADVANCES IN NE OK WITH MESONET STNS IN AREAS NW OF TUL SHOWING DWPTS IN UPPER 40S TO LOWER 50S. LUKS LIKE THIS AIR WILL CONT TO MOVE E WITH MUCH LESS DRYING IN SE OK.
