TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1015 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN CENTRAL KANSAS
 
   ...NORTHERN DICKINSON COUNTY
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS
 
   ...SOUTHERN CLAY COUNTY...EASTERN OTTAWA COUNTY
 
AT 910 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 15 MILES
NORTHWEST OF ABILENE...OR NEAR THE TOWN OF VINE CREEK.
 
THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH...AND WILL BE NEAR MANCHESTER
AND LONGFORD BY 920 PM...AND NEAR WAKEFIELD AND CHAPMAN BY 945 PM.
 
THIS WARNING DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CITY OF ABILENE.
 
HAIL UP TO GOLFBALL SIZE HAS BEEN REPORTED WITH THIS STORM IN THE TOWN
OF MINNEAPOLIS IN CENTRAL OTTAWA COUNTY.
 
THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN THE
PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TOx A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE... GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A
STURDIER BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
