IN WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA ...HERNANDO COUNTY AT 650 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED BETWEEN WEEKI WACHEE AND BROOKSVILLE NEAR ROUTE 50. ANOTHER STRONG STORM WAS LOCATED JUST TO THE WEST OF HERNANDO BEACH. THEY WERE MOVING TO THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
