THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  315 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHWEST UTAH

   ...CENTRAL BOX ELDER COUNTY

AT 2 PM DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR WAS INDICATING A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
ABOUT 15 MILES NORTHWEST OF THE COMMUNITY OF LAKESIDE ON THE WESTERN
EDGE OF THE GREAT SALT LAKE.  THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST
AT 15 MPH.  THE PRESENT MOVEMENT WILL TAKE THIS STORM OUT INTO THE
NORTH ARM OF THE GREAT SALT LAKE. 

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG
BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.  STAY INSIDE AWAY
FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
