THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  530 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHWEST UTAH

   ...NORTHWESTERN BOX ELDER COUNTY

DOPPLER RADAR IN SALT LAKE CITY INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS
10 MILES NORTHWEST OF PARK VALLEY. THE STORM WAS MOVING TOWARDS THE
EAST SOUTHEAST ABOUT 15 MPH. THIS STORM WILL AFFECT THE TOWNS OF
ROSETTE AND PARK VALLEY WITHIN THE HOUR. MOTORISTS ALONG STATE ROUTE
30 NEED TO BE AWARE OF THIS DANGEROUS STORM.
 


IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG
BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.  STAY INSIDE AWAY
FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
