THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR HIGH WINDS 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  620 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHWEST UTAH

   ...EASTERN TOOELE COUNTY

AT 530 PM DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM
ABOUT 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF DUGWAY.  THIS STORM WAS MOVING TOWARD THE
EAST AT ABOUT 40 MPH. 

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND, HAIL, DEADLY LIGHTNING,
AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.  SEEK SHELTER INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING OR A
VEHICLE UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.

     ...STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER SOUTHEAST TOOELE COUNTY...

AT 5 PM DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR AND WEATHER SPOTTERS IN DUGWAY
INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM IN THE DUGWAY AREA.

THIS STORM IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 35 MPH AND WILL
MOVE ACROSS THE RUSH VALLEY AREA SOUTH OF TOOELE BY ABOUT 530 PM THEN
CONTINUE EASTWARD TO NEAJR THE POINT OF THE MOUNTAIN ABOUT 6 PM.

THIS STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR STRONG GUSTY WINDS...SMALL
HAIL...AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL.
