...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VIVID LIGHTNING STRIKES DEVELOPING OVER ABILENE...

AT 825 PM CDT...RADAR AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATE THUNDERSTORMS
DEVELOPING OVER THE ABILENE AREA...SPOTTERS REPORT VIVID LIGHTNING
STRIKES AND VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IN THE BUFFALO GAP AREA.

MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

A CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUES ALONG THE COLORADO RIVER IN
SOUTHERN RUNNELS AND NORTHERN CONCHO COUNTIES...THESE STORMS WILL MOVE
EAST-SOUTHEAST TOWARD THE LAKE IVIE AREA IN SOUTHWEST COLEMAN COUNTY.

BOATERS ON LAKE IVIE SHOULD HEAD TO SHORE NOW...CAMPERS AND RESIDENTS IN
THE LAKE IVIE AREA SHOULD PREPARE FOR STRONG GUSTY WINDS...VERY HEAVY
RAINFALL...LARGE HAIL AND DEADLY LIGHTNING STRIKES.

RESIDENTS SHOULD KEEP ALERT TO CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND SHOULD

AT 1030 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
CONCHO VALLEY. THE STORMS WERE INDICATED IN SOUTHEAST IRION...SOUTHERN
TOM GREEN AND SOUTHWEST CONCHO COUNTIES. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS
WERE INDICATED 5 MILES SOUTH OF CHRISTOVAL AND 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
EDEN. THE THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WAS MOVING SLOWLY TO THE SOUTH AT LESS
THAN 10 MPH.

SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY CONTAIN SMALL HAIL...GUSTY WINDS...DEADLY
LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS OF RAIN.
