THIS EVENING...

...A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FOR NORTH TEXAS TODAY...

AT 155 PM CDT THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING RAPIDLY ALONG AND WEST OF A
LINE FROM NEAR POST TO GAIL TO BIG SPRING TO WEST OF GARDEN CITY.

INDIVIDUAL STORMS WERE MOVING RAPIDLY NORTHEASTWARD...HOWEVER THE LINE
WAS MOVING EASTWARD AND SHOULD BE MOVING INTO SCURRY AND MITCHELL
COUNTIES WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR.

PERSONS IN OR CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREAS SHOULD STAY ALERT FOR APPROACHING
THUNDERSTORMS...AND RISING FLOOD WATERS...AND BE READY TO TAKE IMMEDIATE
