000 TTAA00 KSGF 260300 RRA SVRSGF MOC209-260400- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO 958 PM CDT TUE JUL 25 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI ...STONE COUNTY AT 956 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR IN SPRINGFIELD WAS SHOWING A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING INTO STONE COUNTY. THE SEVERE NATURE OF THIS STORM WAS IN THE FORM OF A GUST FRONT OUT AHEAD OF THE MAIN PRECIPITATION. THE GUST FRONT WILL LIKELY PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH IN THE HURLEY...GALENA...REED SPRINGS AND KIMBERLING CITY. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD SEEK SHELTER NOW. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG BUILDING. DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN... AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
