FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN WEST CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA
 
   ...NORTHERN PUTNAM COUNTY
 
AT 745 PM...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THAT A THUNDERSTORM OVER
NORTHERN PUTNAM COUNTY ABOUT 5 MILES NORTH OF WINFIELD HAD PRODUCED
1.5 TO 2.0 INCHES OF RAIN IN ONE HOUR. THIS WILL CAUSE SMALL STREAMS
TO OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. WATCH OUT FOR MUD SLIDES.
