FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN NORTHWEST WEST VIRGINIA
 
   ...WOOD COUNTY
 
HEAVY RAINFALL EARLY THIS MORNING HAS CAUSED RISES ALONG STREAMS AND
CREEKS IN THE COUNTY. WORTHINGTON CREEK AND STILLWELL CREEK ARE BOTH
OVER THEIR BANKS.
 
MOST OF THE HEAVY RAINS ARE OVER...BUT ADDITIONAL SHOWERS THIS MORNING
MAY AGGRAVATE CONDITIONS FOR A WHILE LONGER.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. WATCH OUT FOR MUD SLIDES.

A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM ALUM CREEK TO MADISON AND
LOGAN.  THE LINE WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.  THE LINE WILL
CAUSE 35 TO 40 MPH GUSTS WITH HEAVY DOWNPOURS.  BY 200 AM THE LINE
WILL EXTEND FROM SUMMERVILLE TO BECKLEY.
