THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM PDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN NORTHWESTERN NEVADA

  ...SOUTHEASTERN WASHOE COUNTY

RENO DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING
NORTH FROM NEAR FERNLEY TOWARD NIXON AND GERLACH. THIS THUNDERSTORM
HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AND VERY STRONG WINDS. IT
WILL AFFECT STATE ROUTE 447 BETWEEN FERNLEY AND GERLACH AS WELL AS
PYRAMID LAKE OVER AT LEAST THE NEXT 45 MINUTES.

WIND DRIVEN DUST OR SAND MAY REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO NEAR ZERO AT
TIMES.

BOATERS ARE URGED TO BE PREPARED FOR STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS OVER OPEN
WATER...AND SEEK SAFE HARBOR IF CONDITIONS BECOME SEVERE.

SEEK SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING...BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
