FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  500 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA
 
   ...GUILFORD COUNTY...RANDOLPH COUNTY
 
THE FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS FOR GUILFORD AND RANDOLPH COUNTIES HAVE BEEN
EXTENDED UNTIL 5 AM THIS MORNING. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE TO MOVE
NORTHERLY ACROSS THE AREA.
 
 
FLOOD WATERS ARE HARDER TO SEE AT NIGHT AND MOST FLASH FLOOD
FATALITIES OCCURz AT NIGHT.  AVOID DRIVING ACROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS.
WATER TWO FEET DEEP CAN FLOAT MOST CARS OFF THE ROAD.  REPORT
FLOODING TO LOCAL EMERGENCY OFFICIALS IMMEDIATELY.
