WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 420 PM MST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
LOCATIONS...
IN SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA
...NORTHEASTERN PINAL COUNTY
INCLUDING SUPERIOR
AT 220 PM MST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR IN PHOENIX
SHOWED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLE HAIL
APPROACHING SUPERIOR FROM THE SOUTHEAST. DOPPLER RADAR ALSO INDICATED
THAT OVER 1 INCH OF RAIN PER HOUR WAS OCCURRING IN THIS AREA.
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT
AS NORMALLY DRY CREEKS AND WASHES BECOME RAPIDLY FILLED WITH RUNOFF
