000 TTAA00 KPIT 212136 FFWPIT PAC121-031-212230- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PITTSBURGH PA 533 PM EDT WED JUN 21 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM EDT FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA ...VENANGO COUNTY IN WEST PENNSYLVANIA ...CLARION COUNTY WEATHER RADAR SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTHERN CLARION AND SOUTHERN VENANGO COUNTIES. THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE TORRENTIAL RAINS THAT CAN BRING FLASH FLOODING IN MANY AREAS OF THESE TWO COUNTIES SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS SHOULD AVOID CAMPING ALONG STREAMS DURING THREATENING RAINS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND DO PRTODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
