FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL STREAMS EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM EDT
FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA
 
   ...MERCER COUNTY...VENANGO COUNTY
 
AT 530 PM...THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WERE MOVING THROUGH NORTHERN
MERCER AND NORTHERN VENANAGO COUNTIES. OVER AN INCH OF RAIN FELL AT
CHAPMANVILLE FROM 430 TO 530 PM. RADAR ESTIMATES THAT AS MUCH AS 1.50
TO 2.00 INCHES HAS FALLEN ALONG ROUTE 27 IN NORTHERN VENANGO COUNTY.
RAINFALL ESTIMATES OF 1.00 TO 1.50 WERE INDICATED ACROSS NORTHERN
MERCER.
 
FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND LOW LYING AREAS IS LIKELY.  PONDING OF
WATER ON ROADS IS ALSO LIKELY.
 
DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.  THE WATER
MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT
IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
