THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  645 PM PDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL IDAHO
 
   ...SOUTHERN CLEARWATER COUNTY...NORTHERN IDAHO COUNTY
 
AT 545 PM PDT WEATHER RADAR IN MISSOULA INDICATES A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
OVER SOUTHWEST CLEARWATER COUNTY OR 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF OROFINO.
THE STORM IS MOVING EAST AT 10-20 MPH AND WILL AFFECT THE COMMUNITIES OF
PIERCE AND WEIPPE BETWN 550 AND 615 PM PDT. THE STORMS WILL THEN CONTINUMOVING EAST ALONG THE CLEARWATER COUNTY AND IDAHO COUNTY LINE.
 
THE STORMS MAY PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND AND LARGE HAIL.
 
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
